Een accesspoint vormt het centrale draadloze toegangspunt binnen uw netwerk. Waar een router het netwerkverkeer verdeelt, zorgt een accesspoint voor een krachtig en stabiel WiFi‑signaal. Veel zakelijke omgevingen en technische thuisgebruikers kiezen daarom voor één of meerdere accesspoints voor optimale dekking en performance. Ook bestaan er routers met een ingebouwd accesspoint, maar losse accesspoints bieden meer flexibiliteit en betrouwbaarheid.
